LAUNCH CAMPAIGN.png

In a sea of cynicism & polarizing rhetoric, we partnered with our friends at Freeform to built a launch campaign for Kal Penn’s new show that captures his positive, non-partisan, and f*cking hilarious brand of politics.

The process began by building a shoot guide for Freeform’s production crew, which gave us plenty of imagery to use to develop a broad spectrum of key art directions.

The challenge of creating the show’s mark? Designing a logo that alludes to politics, while still keeping a wink.

How many political puns and double entendres can you possibly come up with? Answer: well over 100. But here are some of our favorites.

“Issue Curious? “

”Bipartisan? No, he’s from New Jersey.“

”The Penn is mightier than the sword. “

”Taking a soft approach to hard issues.“

”The smart choice for dumb politics.  It’s not a show, it’s a political party.“

We oversaw creative through the entire production process, including final retouching, finishing, and resizing of all assets.

We also developed a radio spot subverting the tropes of all of the political rhetoric in the airwaves before election.
